 Day 7 - Arts & Craft Community

The largest group of independent artisans in North America. This historic 8-mile loop has been designated a Tennessee Heritage Arts & Crafts Trail. Established in 1937, these artisans whittle, paint, sew, cast, weave and carve to create original collectibles such as candles, baskets, quilts, brooms, pottery, jewelry, dolls, ceramics, scrimshaw, silver smithing, leather, stained glass, wearable fashions, fine photography, frameable art, oils and watercolors, also lodging, restaurants, cafés, tea room, soda fountain and candy shops. Make plans to visit the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community.

We will have lunch in the community.

The afternoon is free for you to explore more artists or take an optional walking tour of nearby Greenbrier.

This evening get for to the Dixie Stampede! A fun-filled, action-packed Dinner and Show extravaganza for everyone! It’s the only place that brings together stunning performers, amazing horse feats, fantastic stunt riders, magic and audience participation with a delicious four-course dinner.
Dixie Stampede began as a dream for world-renowned singer and entertainer Dolly Parton. The first location opened in Pigeon Forge, just outside the entrance to Dolly's own theme park, Dollywood. It’s more than a dinner and show; it’s Dolly Parton's own creation. "I wanted to recreate the family fun of my childhood, when we'd gather for a friendly competition and enjoy a more-than-filling meal," says Dolly Parton. "With the grand entertainment of our horses and performers, along with a delicious meal, Dixie Stampede is the most fun place to eat anywhere."

Today, it is one of the most spectacular “dinner and show” boasting three great locations in Branson, MO; Myrtle Beach, SC and Pigeon Forge, TN. With 32 horses, dozens of cast members, live buffalo, amazing ostrich races, magic and seating for 1,000 around a 35,000 square-foot arena at each facility. We will arrive early and take a stroll by the outdoor stable area where you can get a preview of the magnificent performers – the horses themselves! Then join us in the Carriage Room for a special Opening Act one hour before the main Dinner and Show. Enjoy popcorn, peanuts and a beverage while being entertained. At showtime, you’ll be escorted into the beautiful arena where the extravaganza begins…the Dixie Stampede four-course meal and Show of a lifetime!
